When we first met Dimitri through a mutual friend and heard the fascinating story of his life, we knew we had to film with him. His unique personality and acute memory even from a very young age makes him a captivating storyteller. This is the story of his life in Russia starting when he lived with his parents, to when he and his sister were put in a state run orphanage for 5 years, and finally his conversion and the process of he and his sister being adopted by a Spanish family. There is so much more to his story both during these years and after his adoption, but we were only able to tell one part of it. He is currently writing a book which he hopes to publish in the next year or two which goes into much more depth.
Dimitri is also the founder of Cathopic.com, a Catholic apostolate of high quality photos that can be used for evangelization.
Cuando le conocimos a Dimitri a través de una amiga, nos empezó a contar la historia fascinante de su vida y sabíamos que teníamos que filmar con él. Su personalidad única y su excelente memoria desde pequeño hace que cuenta muy bien su testimonio. Esta es la historia de su vida desde cuando vivía en Rusia con sus padres biológicos, hasta cuando se le metió en un orfanato con su hermana durante 5 años, y finalmente su conversión a la fe y el proceso de su adopción por una familia española. Hay mucho más que contar tanto durante esta época como después de su adopción y hemos podido mostrar solo una parte. Actualmente esta escribiendo un libro que espera publicar dentro de unos años que contiene mucho mas detalles de su historia.
Además, Dimitri se fundó un apostolado que se llama Cathopic.com que es una página web lleno de fotos de alta calidad que la gente puede usar para la evangelización.
